30 Government Funded hours are given by Cheshire East Council. There are certain criteria to meet the eligibility for these hours. If your child does qualify for the Governemnt Funded hours you are able to claim these the term after your child's 3rd birthday, for example; A child born in June will be able to clam the hours from the September. This is parental responsibility and must be applied for in adequate time to secure the funding, see Cheshire East Website for more detailed information.
Disley Under Fives understands the cost of childcare may seem expensive to parents/carers. However, providing a high quality, safe and stimulating service for children is not cheap. In order to ensure continued high standards and sustainability of the setting we ask parents/carers to comply with this policy in respect of fee payments.
We aim to help parents/carers to pay all fees due by offering an affordable payment system. Fees will be detailed in the parent/carer Registration Pack and Contract.
Fees are payable during periods of absence from the Nursery, including holidays, sickness or other matters, except when the Nursery is closed e.g. School holidays. This is to retain your child’s place.
Once you have been offered a place at Disley Under Fives, you will be required to complete a Registration Pack and Contract.
A one off non-refundable charge of £50.00 will be required to secure your child’s place at nursery, this applies only to fee paying parents and is not applicable to parents/carers receiving government funded hours.
At Disley Under Fives we understand the importance of a smooth transition for your child. We will work with you in identifying what settling in period will be best for your child. We offer up to 4 free one hour settle sessions.
All fees are expected to be paid by the 15th of every month. Fees will be calculated by the number of weeks in a term and will then be equally divided in to the amount of months within that term for example;
September 2019 – December 2019 = 15 weeks
£30.00 (1 core session) X 15 weeks = £450.00
£450.00/4 months = £112.50 monthly payments
Parents will receive a fee breakdown at the beginning of each term, the breakdown will account for all booked sessions within that period and will also state the amounts due each month. A reminder email will be sent out before each monthly payment is due.
Additional sessions can be requested by parents/carers and where possible we will always try and accommodate the sessions you request. These sessions will not show on your fee breakdown, you will be invoiced monthly for any additional sessions you request and fees must be paid by 15th of the month. If the sessions are requested after 15th of the month your session will be added on to the following months invoice.
There is a £15 charge for any child not collected at the end of their booked session. There will be an additional charge of £5 for every 15 minutes parents are late after a 30 minute period. For example: being 45 minutes late will incur a charge of £20. This charge is to cover the cost of staffing.
Failure to pay fees on time
In the case of a missed payment a reminder invoice will be issued to parents/carers with a week to pay any outstanding fees. If fees still remain unpaid at the end of this period we will have a meeting with the parents/carers and will come up with a payment plan or in some cases your child will be unable to attend booked sessions until the fees have been paid.
For parents/carers who claim government funded hours there will be a compulsory charge of £1 for the Early session and £2 for the Late session. These fees will be calculated at the beginning of each term and you will receive a Breakdown of the Snack Money fee to be paid by the 15th of each month. You will also receive a reminder via email before your payment is due.
We require one full month’s written notice to terminate your child’s place at Disley Under Fives. We also require one full month’s written notice to reduce the number of sessions your child attends. In the event that notice is not given, full fees must be paid for the sessions booked.
If we need to close the setting due to snow and to minimise health and safety risks to children, their families and staff it is our policy to pay staff for the hours they are contracted to work on that day. For this reason all fees are still payable.
